What Verified, New, and Popular mean.
Badges on Roost
Verified (gold) — we've confirmed the landlord's identity and that they have the right to let the property. Look for this on every serious listing.
New — the listing was posted in the last 7 days.
Popular — this listing has significantly more views and enquiries than others in the area.
Landlord verification
To become verified, landlords submit:
- Photo ID
- Proof of ownership (property tax certificate, mortgage statement, or estate agent authorisation)
- A phone number we can reach them on
Verified landlords also unlock advanced dashboard features.
